UFC President Dana White has confirmed how much money UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor will make when he fights Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
Despite not breaking down the financials, TMZ Sports reports that White said he expects McGregor to make $100 million when he fights Mayweather.
On Wednesday, all parties involved in the fight confirmed that Mayweather will fight McGregor on Aug. 26 at 154 pounds. The historic fight will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Mayweather will fight in his 50th professional fight when he comes out of retirement to fight McGegor. The boxing legend has not fought in almost two years. He is currently undefeated with 49 wins, while McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the ring with Mayweather.
McGregor is on a two-fight win streak in the UFC. He is coming off of a knockout win over former champion Eddie Alvarez back in November.
