UFC President Dana White has revealed when Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino will fight next.
On a recent episode of the UFC Unfiltered podcast, White said “Cyborg” will fight at UFC 214 on July 29.
On the show, White was listing every fight happening at UFC 214 and said “Cyborg” will be on the card, but he is still looking to find an opponent.
Justino has been campaigning for a fight in the UFC against Invicta Featherweight Champion Megan Anderson.
However, on Wednesday, Invicta FC announced Anderson will be defending her title in the main event of Invicta FC 24 on July 15.
Former UFC title challenger Cat Zingano has publically stated she wants to fight Justino. As of right now, that may be the UFC’s best option.
One woman who is refusing to fight “Cyborg” is UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Germaine de Randamie. In a recent interview, De Randamie’s manager said the champion does not want to face “Cyborg” because of her history with performance-enhancing drugs. De Randamie would rather be stripped of her UFC title than have to defend it against Justino.
UFC 214 will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against former champion Jon Jones in the main event.
