Distraught Boxer Releases Emotional Messages After Knocking Out His Friend Tim Hague

Professional boxer Adam Braidwood posted an emotional message on Twitter regarding Tim Hague, who tragically passed away on Sunday.

Hague passed away shortly after losing a boxing match to Braidwood. In the second round of their fight, Braidwood knocked out Hague. Even though Hauge got up after the loss, he was taken to a hospital shortly after the fight due to a brain injury. Hague passed away after getting surgery on his brain.

“This is really hard. All the theatrics leading up to this, me and Tim were friends. We spoke beforehand and we just wanted to make a beautiful fight for everyone and this is what this is all about,” Braidwood said.

“It’s one of those things where everyone saw me celebrating. Nobody saw me pick up Tim, carry him to the corner, and tell him I love him. I just want everyone to help out Tim’s family that’s what this should all really be about.”

Hague passed away at the age of 34. He is most known for his time in the UFC, which was highlighted by a submission win over Pat Barry in 2009.
