UFC welterweight Yancy Medeiros earned a TKO stoppage over his opponent in the second round at UFC 212 Saturday night. The fighter faced off against Erick Silva, stunning him in the second round. However, Medeiros believes the fight may have been stopped a little early.
In an interview with MMA Junkie after the bout, Medeiros stated “I honestly feel that the ref could have continued the fight. I’ve been on the short end of a fight like that, and I felt I could have continued. That wasn’t my call.”
