Floyd Already Planning Victory, Files For Five ’50-0′ Trademarks Heading Into McGregor Fight

Floyd “Money” Mayweather has already filed for the trademark “50-0” before winning his 50th boxing bout.

This week it was made official that Mayweather will come out of retirment to fight in his 50th professional boxing match. Almost two years ago, Mayweather left the sport undefeated with 49 wins.

Mayweather’s next boxing bout will come against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

Mayweather clearly thinks that victory is inevitable by filing for the trademark saying he will remain undefeated.

McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the ring with Mayweather. Many people have begun critisizing the fact that Mayweahter’s historic 50th straight win may come against a person who has never fought in a boxing match.

Mayweather and McGregor have agreed to fight at 154 pounds. Mayweather traditionally fights at 147 pounds, while McGregor is the UFC champion at 155 pounds.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
