UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor will have quite the size advantage when he steps into the ring with Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
After almost two years away from the sport, Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight McGregor. The UFC champion will be making his professional boxing debut.
Mayweather will have almost all of the advantages going into the fight, but one advantage he will not have is size.
Even though both fighters will weigh in at 154 pounds for their highly anticipated boxing match, McGregor is just naturally larger than the legendary boxer.
In the photos below, you can see both Mayweather and McGregor standing next to former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman.
McGregor and Weidman are close to being the same size, while Mayweather is dwarfed by the former UFC champion.
Mayweather is fighting higher than his natural weight class to fight McGregor. Mayweather traditionally fights at 147 pounds, while McGregor has fought at as high as 170 pounds.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
