On Thursday, media day for UFC International Fight Week got intense when many of the fighters squared off with their upcoming opponents.
This year’s UFC International Fight Week will consist of two events. On July 7, the UFC will host The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale, and On July 8, UFC 213 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The TUF Finale will be headlined by a pivotal fight in the lightweight division as Justin Gaethje makes his long-awaited UFC debut when he fights lightweight contender Michael Johnson.
UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes will defend her title against Valentina Shevchenko in the main event of UFC 213.
The UFC will crown an interim middleweight champion in the co-main event of UFC 213 when top contenders Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker go to battle.
UFC 213 will also feature a heavyweight fight between former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum and Alistair Overeem.
