ONE Championship is interested in booking a grappling match between grappling legends Eddie Bravo and Kazushi Sakuraba.
Bravo revealed the matchup while appearing on a recent episode the Joe Rogan Experience. ONE FC owner Chatri Sityodtong had offered the match to Bravo.
Bravo said he isn’t sure whether or not the match will take place. He is currently suffering from injuries and would need to heal before competing.
Sakuraba was recently announced as an inductee in the UFC Hall of Fame class of 2017.
Twenty years ago Sakuraba gained MMA stardom by winning the UFC Ultimate Japan tournament. He then became known as the “Gracie Hunter” after winning multiple fights against members of the legendary Gracie family, including fellow UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie.
