UFC middleweight contender Yoel Romero appears to be in peak physical shape six weeks before his title opportunity.

On July 8, Romero will fight fellow middleweight contender Robert Whittaker for an interim UFC middleweight title in the co-main event.
Romero is currently on an eight-fight win streak in the UFC. He is coming off a knockout win over former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman.
Romero has defeated many of the best middleweights in the world including Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Derek Brunson, Brad Tavares, Tim Kennedy, and former UFC champion Lyoto Machida.
Whittaker is on a seven-fight win streak in the UFC. In his last fight, he knocked out “Jacare”. His win streak also includes wins over Brunson, Tavares, Rafael Natal, and Uriah Hall.
