Sylvester Stallone is one of the most recognizable boxers of all time, despite not being a professional.
Stallone famously starred as “Rocky” in the famous boxing movie franchise.
While talking to TMZ, Stallone shared his opinions of the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
“I always got the underdog,” Stallone said. “He’s (McGregor) the real life Rocky.”
Stallone admitted Mayweather will most likely win the fight, but he followed it up by saying “But then again, I live in fantasy.”
On Wednesday, both Mayweather and McGregor confirmed that the dream boxing match was official. The two will fight in a 12-round fight at 154 pounds. The fight will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Mayweather will come out of retirement for this historic fight. He is currently undefeated with 49 wins. McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut.
