UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor recently gave Floyd “Money” Mayweather a warning leading up to their highly anticipated boxing match.
On Thursday, Mayweather posted a video of himself training for his upcoming fight.
“You are in quicksand,” McGregor responded on Twitter to Mayweather’s video.
Both fighters have begun posting training videos leading up to what is already one of the biggest fights in combat sports history.
After two years away from the sport, Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight the UFC champion. This will be the 50th fight of his illustrious career. He currently has a perfect professional boxing record of 49-0.
McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he fights Mayweather. Despite not having any boxing experience, McGregor is one of the greatest MMA fighters in the world. He is the only fighter in UFC history to hold two UFC championships at the same time.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
You are in quicksand.
