UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes has been involved in a serious accident. The fighter was driving his truck, when the vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a train. The fighter was then airlifted to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
It was later reported that the fighter entered a coma following the accident. Now, it would appear that Matt Hughes is showing signs of improvement.
Beth Hughes, sister to the Hall of Famer, recently provided an update on the fighter’s condition. As provided by MMA Fighting, she stated “He is improving and continues to show us his heart and determination each day. He has a long road ahead of him and your continued thoughts and prayers will help him with the journey.”
