UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley may be shorter than he says he is.
Either Woodley’s advertised height isn’t accurate, or both of the current female champions in the UFC are taller than we think.
On Tuesday, Woodley shared a picture of himself training alongside UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes and UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk on his Instagram account.
In the photo, which can be seen below, Woodley appears to be lifting himself up while his arms are around both women. While Woodley seems to be close to the same height as Jedrzejczyk, he appears to be shorter than Nunes.
Woodley’s listed height by the UFC is 5’9, while Nunes is listed as 5’8 and Jedrzejczyk is 5’6.
Regardless of their height, these are three of the best fighters in the world today.
Woodley is currently scheduled to defend his title on July 29. At UFC 214, Woodley will defend his championship against Demian Maia in the co-main event.
