American Top Team Fighter Shot, Killed After Defending Himself Against Home Invaders

Professional MMA fighter Aaron Rajman was shot and killed in his home.

On Monday night, a group of men broke into Rajman’s home and after a fight broke out, Rajman was fatality shot in his home in Boca Raton, Florida.

As of Wednesday, police have yet to arrest or name any suspects in his murder.

Rajman’s ex-girlfriend talked about Rajman to a local news affiliate.

“I’m heartbroken. I can’t believe there would be anybody that would do this to him,” Emily Imber said.“He didn’t have an enemy that I knew of. Ever.

“He helped me raise my kid for those five years, and afterward he still played a role in his life,” Imber said.

Rajman was a member of American Top Team. He had a professional MMA record of 2-2. He was a religious man and was one of the only Orthodox Jews in the sport.

“These are the guys you sweat with, you bleed with,” Lamar Brown, Rajman’s teammate, said.

“It’s hard for some people to understand how God can be brought into something like this. But Aaron was a big believer in God and he carried that with him into the cage. That was inspiring.”
