While competing at Kid Worlds in Ontario, California, it would appear that one of the day’s participants has suffered as serious injury.
Joshua Hahm has suffered a neck injury after attempting a triangle choke on his opponent. After achieving the standing position, Hahm’s opponent slammed into the ground. The move brought the match to an abrupt end, as Hahm’s neck became broken.
Over Facebook Thomas Hahm stated:
“Thank you for those who are praying for Joshua… His neck was injured and you can see in the video his neck was snapped weird way.. He was carried thru ambulance to ER and we are still waiting.. As of now he still can’t feel anything so please keep him in your prayers to have his senses back soon! It’s a worst feeling as a parent to see your child in so much pain and it’s up to God to heal him.. Thank you again for your prayers!”
