Newly crowned Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino just performed a title earning victory over Invicta’s own Tonya Evinger at UFC 214 over the weekend.
With “Cyborg” back in the fight game, newly titled as the UFC featherweight champion, fighters are beginning to call out the Brazilian slugger. Among them, UFC’s Cat Zingano has come forward with her thoughts on the new champion.
On the latest edition of The MMA Hour, Zingano, a former UFC bantamweight title challenger, explained that “Cyborg” is one of her primary goals at the moment, but also noted UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, whom she holds a win over, as another potential option.
“The two biggest people on my radar are Amanda and Cyborg.” She said, calling out both UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and featherweight champion Cristiane Justino.
The fighter then revealed that she does not feel intimidated by anyone in the division. “When I am healthy none of these girls can deal with me, not one.” Zingano stated.
Lastly, Zingano explained that “Cyborg” will have her hands full if they meet inside the octagon. “When I’m at 100 percent, she probably can’t even touch me.” She said.
