UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is confident he will be victorious in his professional boxing debut.
On Aug. 26, McGregor will fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather in a 12-round boxing match that will be contested at 154 pounds.
On Wednesday, McGregor and Mayweather hosted their second press conference for their upcoming fight.
In Toronto, McGregor was clearly the fan favorite. The crowd cheered McGregor, while they treated Mayweather like a villain.
Mayweather had no problems playing the role of the bad guy. He challenged McGregor to bet his entire fight purse on the outcome of their upcoming fight.
“If you believe in yourself, like you say you believe in yourself, bet your whole fight check you (expletive)!” Mayweather said to McGregor.
“No (expletive) problem,” McGregor responded. “Send the contract, kid. It’s done.”
Wednesday marked the second of four consecutive press conferences to take place this week. Mayweather and McGregor have already done press conferences in Los Angeles and Toronto. In the next two days, both fighters will visit Brooklyn and London to promote their upcoming fight.
