John Kavanagh, the head coach of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, has sent out a warning to Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
McGregor is currently scheduled to make his professional boxing debut against Mayweather next month.
On Wednesday, Kavanagh sent Mayweather a warning about what lies ahead of him in his next fight.
“He should have stuck to hitting girls and running strip clubs. he’s awoken a dark dark animal that he’s only met in his worst nightmares,” Kavanagh said on Twitter.
Currently, both McGregor and Mayweather are doing a world press tour to promote their upcoming fight. Both fighters are traveling to four different cities in the span of four days.
Mayweather and McGregor have already held press conferences in Los Angeles and Toronto. On Thursday, they will hold their third press conference in Brooklyn, New York. On Friday, the two will square off for the final time at Wembley Stadium in London.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
