D.C. And Cruz Garden Together, Smash Tomato Named Jon Jones

In preparation for his next title fight, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier did some gardening.

Along with former UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz, Cormier was out gardening for a MetroPCS advertisement.

In the video, which can be seen below, Cormier smashed a little tomato he named after former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.

This Saturday, Cormier will defend his title against Jones in the main event of UFC 214.

This will be Cormier’s third title defense. He has successfully defended his championship by defeating Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson.

The only person to ever defeat Cormier in the sport of MMA is Jones. In 2015, Jones defended his title by winning a decision against Cormier.

After being suspended for the past year, Jones is returning to the UFC and trying to win back the title he never lost.

UFC 214 will take place July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
