Darren Elkins Calls Out Two Featherweight Contenders

UFC featherweight contender Darren Elkins has called out two of the top featherweights in the UFC.

On the latest episode of Stud Radio, Elkins said he was interested in fights with “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung and Cub Swanson.

Elkins said he’s been wanting to fight both of them for years, but their paths have never crossed until now.

Last Saturday, Elkins earned the biggest win of his UFC career. In New York, Elkins won a decision against longtime featherweight contender Dennis Bermudez.

Elkins made the fight just the way he likes it. For three rounds, Elkins made the fight grueling and ugly and walked away with a split decision victory.

Since joining Team Alpha Male, Elkins has begun to show his full potential in the UFC. Elkins is currently on a five-fight win streak.

Going into his fight with Bermudez, Elkins was ranked No. 12 in the official UFC featherweight rankings. With his win over Bermudez, who was ranked No. 10, Elkins is likely to break into the top 10.

Elkins wants to earn a title shot with his next win. Jung is ranked No. 5 and Swanson is ranked No. 4. A win against either fighter could give Elkins a strong claim to being worthy of a title opportunity.
