Floyd “Money” Mayweather surprised a lot of people with his trash talking skills at Tuesday’s press conference.
In Los Angles, thousands of people filled the Staples Center for the first press conference for the highly anticipated boxing match between Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Connor McGregor.
McGregor took no time at all to start insulting Mayweather when he walked up to the microphone.
McGregor ridiculed Mayweather over claims of him owing taxes to the IRS. The UFC champion proceeded to call the boxing legend broke.
While it was expected for McGregor to have the advantage when it came to trash talking, Mayweather stepped up to the plate and had no issues trading insults with the UFC’s best trash talker.
“I’m the IRS and I’m going to tax your (expletive),” Mayweather said.
“We knew I was the ‘A’ side since my name is first. And we knew I was the ‘A’ side, that’s why this (expletive) had to come to the boxing ring.”
