Floyd “Money” Mayweather has made a prediction for his upcoming boxing match against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
“Champion Predictions: I’m gonna make a $hit t$n of money on August 26th,” Mayweather wrote on his Instagram page.
After being retired for almost two years, Mayweather is returning to the sport of boxing to possibly earn the largest payday of his career.
In order to make that money, Mayweather must put his perfect 49-0 record on the line against McGregor, who is one of the best pound-for-pound MMA fighters in the world.
McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the ring with Mayweather.
Despite not having any professional boxing experience, McGregor is one of the most lethal strikers in all of MMA. McGregor’s knockout power has helped him win two different UFC championships.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Saturday, August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
