Floyd Mayweather Picks Up “Touch Butt” Training Ahead Of McGregor Fight

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor is now set to face off against boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring. The two will go toe-to-toe on Aug. 26. With McGregor looking to make the payday of his career, the fighter is incorporating all the training he can.

As part of the UFC lightweight champion’s training, Conor McGregor has been drilling under Ido Portal, who has come to be known as McGregor’s “touch butt” coach. “Notorious” uses the training to improve his freedom of movement and coordination, among other useful parts of his game. Now it would appear that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is incorporating a similar training technique.

The boxer recently took to Instagram to share, “Bikram Yoga #TMT #TBE #MayweatherPromotions #bikramyoga #yoga.”
