Floyd Mayweather Responds To Conor McGregor’s Trash-Talk, Wins Round 1

UFC lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor and boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. are set to face off on Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, the fighters have now embarked on a world tour to promote the epic cross-promotional match up. For the first stop of the night, the two fighters made it down to Los Angeles, California to face off for the first time ever.

At the event, Conor McGregor came out figuratively swinging with trash-talk. However, Floyd Mayweather took advantage of his time at the podium.

After receiving a flak of trash-talk from the UFC champion, Floyd Mayweather laid down some talk of his own.

“I don’t give a (expletive) if it’s a ring. I don’t give a (expletive) if it’s an octagon. Put me in there and I am going to kick ass.” Mayweather said, as he stalked around the stage.

Coming back to the mic, the fighter brought up his recent IRS concerns.

“You’re right, I’m the IRS and I’m going to tax your ass.” Mayweather told McGregor.
