Floyd “Money” Mayweather has reacted to his father’s antics on Tuesday.
After the first press conference for Mayweather’s upcoming fight against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather Sr. crashed McGregor’s media scrum and began talking trash with his son’s opponent.
On Wednesday, after their second press conference, Mayweather was asked how he felt about his father’s actions.
“I think my dad should just let it come down to the two competitors,” Mayweather said. “My dad is going to be my dad. That’s what he do.”
Mayweather and McGregor are currently doing a world tour of press conferences to promote their highly anticipated boxing match.
Both fighters have already visited Los Angeles and Toronto. On Thursday, the two will square off in Brooklyn, and on Friday, the final press conference will take place at Wembley Stadium in London.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Saturday, August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
