Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir Released From UFC Contract

It would appear that one of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) former champions has been released from their contract.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir has not competed inside the octagon since his first round knockout loss to Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 85 last year. The knockout loss put the fighter on a two fight losing streak, having lost to Andrei Arlovski the year before.

Now Frank Mir has come forward to reveal that he has been released from the mixed martial arts promotion.
