The first press conference for the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor will take place next week.
The first press conference for Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on July 10.
Mayweather and McGregor will do five press conferences in five days to promote their upcoming fight. Each event will be open to the public.
On July 11, there will be a press conference at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
On July 12, they will travel to Canada and will hold a press conference at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
On July 13, Mayweather and McGregor will travel to New York for a press conference at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
On July 14, the two will go overseas to England.
The Sun recently reported the press conference will take place at Wembley Stadium in London, England. They also report that the press conference will be open to the public. They are expecting around 10,000 people to attend the event.
Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight the UFC champion in a boxing match. After being away from the sport for almost two years, Mayweather is putting his perfect 49-0 record on the line against McGregor.
McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he fights Mayweather. The two will compete in a 12-round bout that will be contested at 154 pounds.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Saturday, August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
