Georges St-Pierre was not impressed with UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley’s performance at UFC 214.
On Saturday, Woodley successfully defended his title by winning a unanimous decision against Demian Maia.
Woodley stopped all of Maia takedown attempts for five rounds to win a decision. The UFC champion didn’t do much else besides land a few strikes throughout the 25-minute fight.
After the fight, Woodley said he wanted to fight a returning St-Pierre at Madison Square Garden, in New York City, in November.
After the fight, Ariel Helwani, of MMA Fighting, asked St-Pierre was he thought about Woodley’s win.
St-Pierre responded by saying he wanted to fight UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping and said Bisping wants to fight him as well.
Just asked @GeorgesStPierre what he thought of that fight. His response:
"I want @bisping and Bisping wants me."
