UFC 214 Salaries: D.C. Banks A Million Bucks, Double That Of Jon Jones

Another night of fights is now in the books. UFC 214 took place over the weekend with UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier taking on rival and former champion Jon “Bones” Jones in the night’s main event. While Jon Jones walked away with a knockout victory, it would appear that Daniel Cormier earned double the fight purse of his opponent.

As reported by MMA Fighting, Daniel Cormier earned a $1 million fight purse for his main event knockout loss. Jon Jones, on the other hand, earned $500,000 for his headlining performance. “Bones” also took home a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his knockout victory.

Co-main event competitor Tyron Woodley took home $500,000, while losing opponent Demian Maia received $110,000 for his performance. For defeating Tonya Evinger, Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino made $200,000. Evinger received $100,000 for her efforts.

Robbie Lawler recieved $300,000 for his exciting knockout over Donald Cerrone, who was given $155,000 in show money.

On top of a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, Volkan Oezdemir earned $110,000 for defeating Jimi Manuwa. Manuwa received $120,000 for his efforts.
