Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier suffered a title ending loss over the weekend. Facing off against returning longtime rival Jon “Bones” Jones in the main event of UFC 214 on Saturday night, Cormier was dealt the second loss of his career.
The only fighter to ever defeat Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones earned a knockout victory over his opponent in the third round, granting the fighter his former light heavyweight title.
Following the fight, longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan interviewed Daniel Cormier. However, the commentator’s decision to do so has since come under some controversy, as Daniel Cormier had received a concussion from his knockout loss.
Now, Joe Rogan has provided some insight into his decision on a recent edition of his podcast Joe Rogan Experience.
