UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor would beat Floyd “Money” Mayweather in a fight.
Before Mayweather vs. McGregor was made official, Rogan discussed the potential fight on his podcast.
Rogan admits Mayweather has the advantage in a boxing match, but in an actual fight, or an MMA fight, McGregor could do anything he wanted to the boxing legend.
Rogan went on to say that the chances of McGregor defeating Mayweather in a boxing match are much more realistic than Mayweather winning an MMA fight against the UFC champion.
In the video below, you can watch Rogan talked about the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight before it was made official.
After two years of being retired, Mayweather is returning to the sport of boxing to fight for the 50th time in his illustrious career. McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the boxing ring with Mayweather.
Mayweather vs. McGregor take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
