UFC Adds Two New Fights, Including The Return Of Stripped Champion GDR

The UFC has added two fights to their upcoming Fight Night event in Rotterdam on Sept. 2.

Among the fights added is the return of former UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Germaine de Randamie.

De Randamie will return to the bantamweight division to fight Marion Reneau.

Earlier this year, De Randamie was stripped of her UFC title due to her refusing to defend her championship against Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.

In February, De Randamie won the inaugural UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship by winning a decision against former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm.

Reneau last fought in March. She is coming off a draw against former title challenger Bethe Correia.

Featherweight prospect Zabit Magomedsharipov will make his UFC debut in Rotterdam. He is set to fight Nick Hein, who is on a three-fight win streak inside the Octagon.

Magomedsharipov is on an eight-fight win streak and is a former featherweight champion in the ACB promotion based out of Russia.

This UFC Fight Night event is headlined by a pivotal heavyweight battle between Stefan Struve and Alexander Volkov.
