Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones thinks his older brother could beat UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in an MMA fight.
Jones’ older brother, Arthur, is a defensive lineman in the NFL. He has played for the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts.
TMZ Sports recently asked the former UFC champion if he thinks his brother could defeat Cormier.
“If my brother put in quite a few years of training, I think he could take Cormier for sure,” Jones said.
“Arthur is a lot bigger. He has a wrestling base. He’s a Super Bowl champion defensive lineman. He’s no push over. I’m pretty sure he could take Cormier.”
Jones and Cormier have been involved in one of the most heated rivalries in MMA history over the past few years.
This Saturday, the two rivals will meet inside the Octagon once again.
Cormier will defend his title against Jones in the main event of UFC 214 on July 29.
