UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones were given the opportunity to square off just days before they are set to fight inside the Octagon.
As expected, things got intense when Jones and Cormier went face-to-face on Wednesday.
Over the past couple years, Cormier and Jones have been involved in what may be the most heated rivalry in all of MMA.
Cormier will defend his title against Jones in the main event of UFC 214 on Saturday.
This will be the second time Jones and Cormier fight inside the UFC cage. In 2015, Jones successfully defended his title by winning a decision against Cormier.
Since then, Jones has made numerous mistakes outside of the cage. Jones has been stripped of two different UFC titles and has been suspended for the past year.
During Jones’ absence, Cormier has taken over the division and will be making his third title dense on Saturday.
UFC 214 will take place July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California
