Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor is gearing up to face off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26. However, the two must first embarking on a world press tour to promote the intense cross-promotional match up.
One of the stops for the tour will be Toronto, Canada on July 12. However, there has now been a change in the stop.
Initially destined for the Sony Centre, the stop will now be hosted within the Budweiser Stage of Toronto.
As reported by MMA Fighting, nearly 30,000 tickets were given out for the tour’s first two stops in Las Angeles, Ca. and New York. With the success of the ticket giveaways, a decision was made to move the Toronto stop to a larger venue.
