As times goes on, UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor keeps becoming less of an underdog against Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
Next month, McGregor will make his professional boxing debut against Mayweather, who is one of the greatest boxers to ever step into the ring.
When the fight was first announced, Mayweather was a massive favorite against McGregor, and rightfully so since McGregor has never fought in a boxing match.
However, more people keep placing major bets on McGregor to pull off the biggest upset in combat sports history.
Recently, a man bet $150,000 for McGregor to defeat Mayweather. If this were to happen, that man would earn $662,500.
When the fight was first announced, if someone bet $100 on McGregor winning, that person could win almost $1000. Today, a $100 bet on McGregor will only win you around $400.
With over a month to go, it will be interesting to see what the betting lines will be come fight night.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Saturday, August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
