We’re just one day removed from Paulie’s 8-round sparring session with Conor McGregor. And by the amount of media attention it’s gotten, you’d think it was a Pay-per-view event.
Closed to the public though, fight fans are left with nothing but to speculate on Paulie’s reaction to his first day sparring with Conor McGregor.
Paulie is pegged to stay in Conor’s camp and finish out the preparations with the UFC champion.
Conor released a photo yesterday, that went viral of the duo’s first spar.
They say I've got no hands. pic.twitter.com/FJfvj5qjKi

And, hours later, Paulie also took to twitter with his reaction:
Good rounds last night with @TheNotoriousMMA. My code is sparring details stay in the gym. Look forward to helping him get ready for 8/26.

ESPN just had a one-on-one sit down with Paulie, who has visible bruising on the right side of his face and a nasty black eye on the left side… And this was after day one of sparring.
