On Friday, the UFC saw what may be its fight of the year.
In the main event of The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption, Justin Gaethje made his UFC debut against lightweight contender Michael Johnson.
The two engaged in an epic war that saw both fighters severely hurt their opponents. In the second round of the fight, Gaethje recovered after being rocked by Johnson and landed a brutal combination of his own. Gaethje swarmed Johnson up against the cage until the referee stepped in and awarded Gaethje the TKO victory.

Gaethje is now undefeated with 18 wins. With his impressive TKO victory over a UFC contender, Gaethje has gone from being a prospect in the lightweight division to being a title contender.
