With the Viacom owned Bellator promotion going after every available UFC free-agent, the competition for the UFC is getting stiff.
Sure, the new owners at WME/IMG have money, but they don’t have “viacom money”, and the shift in power continues to press on.
In their latest bid at taking over the UFC’s rich roster of world-famous talent, Bellator has reportedly signed the #4 ranked middleweight Gegard Mousasi.
It’s been known for sometime that Mousasi’s contract was up, and so was his matching period, and the MMA world’s been waiting on him to sign… somewhere.
Now, thanks to the steadfast journalism from Chamatkar Sandhu, it appears we have those answers.
Taking to twitter, he stated,
I'm hearing from a reliable source that Gegard Mousasi has signed with Bellator MMA. It's one source but I'm trying to get confirmation now.
