“Rumble” Johnson Willing To Return To UFC Action With An Offer To Fight Jon Jones

Newly crowned UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones made a triumphant return to the octagon when he took on longtime rival Daniel Cormier over the weekend. The two faced off in the main event of Saturday night’s UFC 214. In the end, Jon Jones earned himself a knockout victory, granting the fighter back his title. Now, fighters are beginning give some attention to the newly returned champion. Among them, a former top contender may be coming out of retirement.

Former No. 1 UFC light heavyweight contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson retired from MMA earlieer this year. However, the former fighter recently revealed that he will consider returning for a fight with Jon Jones.

On the most recent edition of The MMA Hour, Johnson said “I think it’s a fight at the end of the day that Jon wants, and I want too. If UFC comes at me right with something I can’t resist, then yeah, I’ll make it happen.”
