Just days ago former UFC welterweight champion George St-Pierre and reigning UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping revealed that they had made an agreement with each other to face off in the final quarter of this year. Now, it would appear that the fight may actually be happening.
Mixed martial arts reporter Ariel Helwani recently took to Twitter to reveal that his sources claim Bisping vs. GSP now has a fight date and an arena.
“Confirmed with sources that Bisping vs GSP has been agreed to for MSG on 11/4. Should be signed in the coming days.” Helwani stated.
UFC 217 goes down Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.
