Conor’s Head Coach Teases They’re Training This (In Boxing Gloves) For Floyd … ‘to rupture his major collateral ligaments’

John Kavanagh, the head coach of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, has sent out a warning to Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

On Saturday, Kavanagh posted a photo on his Instagram of McGregor putting UFC featherweight Artem Lobov in an armbar.

In the photo, both fighters are wearing boxing gloves, and Kavanagh joked about Mayweather having to be worried.

“This technique is designed to rupture the major collateral ligaments in the elbow joint. It is powerful enough to cause an avulsion fracture. Luckily for FM he does not have to worry about this next Saturday. Or does he?” Kavanagh said on Instagram.

McGregor and Mayweather are just one week away from meeting each other inside the ring.

McGregor will be making his professional debut, as Mayweather fights for the 50th time in his illustrious career.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
