D.C. Breaks His Silence, Eyeing UFC Heavyweight Division, And A Rematch With Jon Jones

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier suffered the second defeat of his mixed martial arts career at UFC 214. For the second time, Cormier was dealt a loss by longtime rival Jon “Bones” Jones. The title ending knockout loss appeared to be a tough moment for the now former champion. However, Daniel Cormier now has some ideas for the future.

On today’s edition of The MMA Hour, Daniel Cormier revealed that he certainly plans to keep fighting. Cormier mentioned that a move to the heavyweight division is not out of the question and the UFC has already come forward with a few ideas to him. However, Cormier is also not ruling out a third throw down with Jon Jones.

“Not only am I going to fight again, but I believe Jones and I will fight again.” Daniel Cormier stated.
