Floyd Reveals Purse For McGregor Fight … And It’s Hundreds (plural) Of Millions Of Dollars

Floyd “Money” Mayweather has revealed how much money he plans to make when he comes out of retirement later this month.

On Aug. 26, Mayweather is scheduled to UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in a boxing match.

TMZ released a clip from Showtime’s All Access series, and during the clip, Mayweather suggested how much money he will make for fighting McGregor.

“I mean, am I the highest-paid athlete out there? And just coming back? We not talking about no contract. We not talking about no contract for no 4 years or no contract for no 5 years. I can do it in 36 minutes. $300 (million) or better. In 36 minutes,” Mayweather said.

We’re just being real. Like I said before, I’m not hurting. I’m far from hurting. I got paper. They talking about Mayweather this and Mayweather that, I’m not hurting. I got mine.”

Mayweather will fight McGregor at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The fight will air live via Showtime pay-per-view.
