UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt is once again scheduled to defend his title against former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw.
On Wednesday, Garbrandt went to Twitter and announced that he will be fighting Dillashaw at UFC 217 on Nov. 4.
Garbrandt and Dillashaw were originally scheduled to fight at UFC 213 last month, but a back injury forced Garbrandt to withdraw from the fight.
Garbrandt and Dillashaw were once teammates at Team Alpha Male, but since Dillashaw left the team, the two have been bitter rivals.
In his last fight, Garbrandt won the UFC title by winning a decision against Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 last December.
At the same event, Dillashaw earned a decision win over bantamweight contender John Lineker.
UFC 217 will be the UFC’s second event to take place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. The event is expected to be headlined by UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping defending his title against Georges St-Pierre.
