The face of MMA journalism (and podcastism) Ariel Helwani recently got the honor to work with UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor.
The two hit the stage together for a live broadcast pay-per-view interview, appropiately called “The Conor McGregor Experience”.
It’s been a few months since that went down, and the popular MMA journalist just took to twitter exposing the company for non-payment.
Helwani is loved by MMA fans the world over. His social media following extends beyond 90% of the UFC’s current fighter roster. Ripping him off isn’t good for business.
Here’s Helwani’s rant:
Ha. They blocked me on Twitter. Bunch of class acts.

Word to the wise, Charlotte: get all your money up front. They don't like to hold up their end of the deal.

Urge anyone working for them/buying tickets to their events to be very careful. Went above and beyond for them and was lied to repeatedly.

They told me they went bankrupt, yet they are promoting an event next month. Well done, lads. Hopefully you don't cheat anyone else.

Thanks Matthew. Appreciate it. Lied to me for months and now I see they are promoting another event. Very disappointing.

Hey @anexpwith. Thought about it: keep your money. I want nothing to do with you. Instead, please donate it all to Houston. Link below. Thx. https://t.co/2ek6sgwHZL
