‘If D.C. Would’ve Won, He Would’ve Been Arrogant And Thrown It In My Face’

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones has made a successful return to the octagon. The newly crowned champion squared off against rival and reigning champion at the time Daniel Cormier for the main event of UFC 214. In the end, Jon Jones earned a knockout victory over his opponent. Following the knockout performance, Jon Jones offered a few kind words for his defeated rival. Now, the UFC light heavyweight champion has decided to elaborate on his decision to speak of Cormier in a positive light and if Cormier would have done the same.

In an interview on Jim and Sam Show, Jon Jones explained that he does not believe the energy would have been the same if Daniel Cormier had won. “Bones” elaborated by saying that he expected Cormier to be for confrontational upon his victory.
