A historic night in boxing took place over the weekend. UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor faced off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. “Notorious” made his boxing debut against one of the greatest boxers alive. Floyd Mayweather Jr. cemented his legacy by taking out the UFC champion with a TKO victory, putting the boxer at 50-0. While Floyd Mayweather Jr. has returned to retirement, many have begun to wonder what is next for “Notorious.”
Former UFC competitor Chael Sonnen appeared on today’s edition of The MMA Hour to reveal that a trilogy fight between UFC contender Nate Diaz and rival Conor McGregor is currently in the works.
Chael Sonnen went on to explain that he has reason to believe that the fight is being targeted for this December.
