Former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo has given a hint as to when his next fight inside the Octagon will take place.
While training at Robert Garcia’s boxing gym, one of Aldo’s training partners said they were going to attend his next fight on Nov. 4, which is UFC 217 in New York City.
Aldo did not deny he was fighting at UFC 217 when his training partner talked about going to the fight. The former UFC champion also didn’t reveal who he may be fighting.
In a recent interview, Aldo’s coach, Andre Pederneiras, said Aldo was interested in a fight with featherweight contender Cub Swanson. Pederneiras said Aldo wants a fight that will put him in position to once again fight for the title.
Recently, Aldo has been focused on training in boxing, which is why he has been training at Robert Garcia’s gym. Aldo’s coach says the former UFC champion wants to compete in boxing after he finishes his UFC contract.
