New: Boxing Champion And Olympic Medalist Offers To Fill In For Paulie As McGregor Sparring Partner

With former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi no longer in his training camp, another boxing champion has offered to spar with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

On Tuesday, boxing champion Vasyl Lomachenko sent out a tweet offering to spar with McGregor.

“Need another sparring partner to test your skills against?” Lomachenko said in a tweet directed at McGregor.

McGregor is currently training to make his professional boxing debut later this month. On Aug. 26, McGregor is scheduled to fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather in Las Vegas.

Last week, Malignaggi left McGregor’s training camp after photos were leaked of the two sparring. In the photos, McGregor is seen landing shots on Malignaggi. As a result, Malignaggi left the camp and has been revealing private details of the sparring sessions with McGregor.

Despite not having any professional boxing experience, McGregor is one of the best strikers in all of MMA. His knockout power has led him to winning two different UFC championships.
